I am so tired of counterfeit electronic components!

I am so sick and tired of this never ending, snowballing, plague, business ruining, sometimes can be life threatening, money costing, annoying, time consuming, issue of counterfeit electronic components! Franchise sent us pulled parts!

When did it get so bad? It is scary to be an independent distributor today. Actually we recently rejected product we received in from a major franchise distributor because they had been clearly used, marks from heat sinks, BGA balls were all contaminated with solder. Not the quality you would expect from a franchise distributor, right? Wrong if you think about it. Their quality control of receiving returns is obviously flawed. Someone sent them back pulled parts and they just put them back on their shelf ready to ship out to the next buyer. Our QC is tight enough that we caught this. What makes this worse is we rejected them, they gave us an RMA shipped us replacements and they were just as bad, so not once but twice and even after they were told that they shipped pulled parts. But keep in mind folks if you are buying from a franchise source you are safe, if you believe that then I would like to sell you a full proof system to earn a million dollars in 24 hours.  You, us are not safe in this market.
